FAQ

FAQ

  1. What is the minimum quantity?
Our minimum quantity is usually 1 but there is a $4.00 set up charge included in most items ordered.  If you order an item to be "Collated" we will require a minimum of 2 for your order.

  2. What information do I need to get a quote?
We need to know the quantity, paper type, size, and how many pages in document to quote any item.

  3. What does “Full Bleed” or "Colors Print to Edge" mean?
Full Bleed is the technical term for printing all the way to the edge of the paper.  That is when any portion of the artwork extends to the very edge of or even very close to the edge of the printed page.  In order to print a document with artwork extended to the edge, the original file must be larger than the desired sizing by at least 1/8” on each of the four sides.  The artwork then needs to extend into this added space for print, after which the extra 1/8” is cut off, leaving a finish product the correct size and with artwork that extends all the way to the edges.  If full bleed artwork is not provided, we will at our discretion, trim your artwork for the same desired results.  If we trim the artwork, please note that the dimensions to the printed piece will be just a little smaller than specified.

  4. What does “Collated or Uncollated” mean?
Collation is when pages are printed in a certain order, such as in booklets or multi page flyers.  When choosing Collated items, the minimum order we request is 2.

  5. What is “Color Copies” vs “Bulk” printing?
Color Copies are printed using toner on our production copy machines.  Bulk printing is usually done using inks on a printing press.

  6. What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround time for Color Copies is typically 2 business days and quantities can vary as desired.   The turnaround time for "Bulk" printing is typically 4 - 5 business days and the quantities ordered must be as offered on the order page.

  7. What is the largest size printable?
The largest prints we offer online is 11 x 17, if a larger size is required, please call the office for a special quote.

  8. How do I select the routes and pay for postage for EDDM?
Please click on this link (https://eddm.usps.com/eddm/customer/routeSearch.action)  to be directed to the USPS web page where you can select your carrier routes and pay for postage.  If you want us to bundle and deliver your EDDM to the Post Office you will need to submit the postal forms to us when you place your order.

  9. Can I RUSH or "Expedite" my order?
If you place an “Expedite” in your shopping cart when submitting your order, one item will be moved to the front of our production queue, thus greatly decreasing your turnaround time.  There is a $25.00 fee for this service.  If you have more than one item in your cart that needs to be expedited, please contact us to see if another "Expedite" will be required. (Some "Bulk" items may not be available to expedite or will cost more to expedite).  Please call for specific times of completion as they will vary depending on the type of job and the current “Expedited” queue.

  10. What types of files are required when an order is placed?
The preferred file type is a high-resolution pdf.  However, we can also accept a high-resolution jpeg or tiff file.  If you need a pdf reader, or a pdf maker, please follow the links below for free downloads of Acrobat Adobe Reader and PrimoPDF.
